The content of this site has been prepared with care. We do not warrant that it is accurate, complete or current. It serves general information about NOXAROS and is not an offer. This site is operated from Germany; we accept no liability for its compliance with legal provisions outside Germany.
All technical statements are non-binding and subject to change without notice. The operational picture on this page is an illustration: the terrain and the buildings are real, the sensors, tracks and engagements are not real data. Suitability of our products for a given use is for the user to determine.
Texts, images, the wordmark and the software of this site belong to NOXAROS unless marked otherwise. Use, reproduction or distribution requires our written permission. Building footprints, roads and water of the area shown come from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). Elevation comes from the Terrain Tiles dataset on AWS (Mapzen and Tilezen): produced using Copernicus data and information funded by the European Union, EU-DEM layers; © offene Daten Österreichs, Digitales Geländemodell (DGM) Österreich; SRTM and GMTED2010 data courtesy of the U.S. Geological Survey. NOXAROS GmbH i.G. (in formation), Industriestraße 11-13, 65549 Limburg an der Lahn, Germany, info@noxaros.com, is the controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the processing described here. We have not designated a data protection officer, as none is required for us under Art. 37 GDPR and § 38 BDSG.
This site is a single page. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, embeds no third party content and loads nothing from other servers: the typefaces and the map data are delivered together with the page by our hosting provider. Personal data is processed in three situations only: when your browser requests the page, when you use the contact form, and when you write to us by email.
This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA, under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and the standard contractual clauses in that agreement apply in addition (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). Copies of these agreements are available on request. The page is delivered from the point of Vercel's network nearest to you; the contact form is handled by a function that runs in Frankfurt, Germany. When your browser requests the page, the provider records on our behalf:
We use this data to deliver the page, to keep the site stable and secure and, where there is concrete reason to, to investigate an attack. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating the site securely. The provider deletes these logs after 14 days at the latest, in practice within a day, unless they are needed as evidence of an attack.
If you use the contact form, we process your name, your organisation if you give it, your email address, your message and the time you sent it. The data is transmitted encrypted (TLS) to our contact function, which runs at our hosting provider in Frankfurt, and forwarded from there by email to info@noxaros.com. We use it solely to answer your enquiry and for follow up questions that arise from it.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at entering into a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in answering the enquiries we receive. The form is protected against automated submissions by a hidden field, a timing check and a limit on how many messages one IP address may send per hour, which that function keeps in its memory only; no third party is involved and nothing about you is stored for that purpose.
We delete the data once your enquiry is settled, unless statutory retention obligations under commercial or tax law (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO) require us to keep correspondence longer, in which case we restrict its processing to that purpose.
If you write to us by email, we store your address, your name and the content of your message in order to handle the enquiry and answer follow up questions. The legal basis is the same as for the contact form. Our mailboxes are operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (Google Workspace), under a data processing agreement; data may be processed in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR apply in addition. Copies are available on request.
Email without end to end encryption is not fully protected in transit. Please do not send us classified or otherwise sensitive material by email.
Apart from the hosting provider and the email provider named above, we pass personal data on only where the law requires it or where you have asked us to.
You have the right to obtain access to the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it rectified (Art. 16), erased (Art. 17) or its processing restricted (Art. 18), and to receive the data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format (Art. 20). To exercise any of these rights, write to info@noxaros.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the member state of your residence or place of work. The authority responsible for us is Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Postfach 3163, 65021 Wiesbaden, Germany, datenschutz.hessen.de.
Where we process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. We do not use your data for direct marketing.
You are not obliged to provide personal data. Without a name, an email address and a message we cannot answer an enquiry. We make no automated decisions and do no profiling.
We will update this notice whenever the site or the processing changes. The date at the top says when that last happened.
